Mountain Home Studio
Our Home Studio
The Mountain Home studio is where most of our Twin Lakes projects begin. Bring a property you are considering, a set of plans, or simply an idea of how you want to live on the water, and we will help you understand what it will take.
A first conversation usually covers the property, your requirements and a basic cost range. Before you commit to a lot, we can walk it with you and review utilities, access, special permitting and the view corridor, then prepare a preliminary site plan.
The studio is on US-62 on the west side of Mountain Home. Call ahead and we will make sure the right people are there to meet you.
Building on the Lakes and Rivers
What Every Twin Lakes Lot Asks of a Builder
Water is why most people build here, and it shapes almost every decision. These are the questions we work through before design begins.
01.
Bull Shoals and Norfork Lakes
Both lakes are U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reservoirs, and their shorelines follow Corps shoreline management rules. Whether a private dock is allowed, and where, depends on the shoreline in front of a lot, so we check before you buy rather than after.
02.
The White and Norfork Rivers
The cold waters below Bull Shoals and Norfork dams are known for trout fishing. River lots bring their own questions: flood elevations, water levels that rise and fall with dam releases, and how you will reach the water.
03.
Slope, Rock and Septic
Much of the land around the lakes is steep, rocky and wooded. Slope, rock excavation, septic design and room for equipment and deliveries shape both the design and the budget on many Twin Lakes lots.

Life in the Twin Lakes Area
A Place Built Around the Water
Mountain Home sits between Bull Shoals and Norfork lakes, with the White and Norfork rivers close by. It is a place for fishing at first light, long summer days on the boat, hunting in the fall and quiet winters by the fire, with the shops, healthcare and dining of the county seat close to home.
Some families have been coming here for generations. Others arrive for the first time and decide to stay. Either way, we build homes for the life people come here for: boat launches, docks and boathouses, covered outdoor living, and room for everyone who visits. If you live out of town, our client portal and a dedicated project manager keep you part of every decision.

Client Voices
“I can't say enough good things about this company. They built our lake house this past year at Henderson. They took care of everything from start to finish. We live out of town so that was important to us. They are awesome to work with. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that is looking to build a new home.”

Where is your Mountain Home studio?
Our Mountain Home studio is at 4520 US-62, Mountain Home, AR 72653. It is open Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm, and you can reach it at (870) 232-0140.
Which areas does the Mountain Home studio serve?
Mountain Home, Baxter and Marion counties, Henderson, Bull Shoals and the rest of the Twin Lakes Area, including homes on Bull Shoals Lake, Norfork Lake and the White and Norfork rivers.
Can you build a dock or boathouse with the home?
Yes. We plan docks, boathouses and boat storage as part of the home. On Bull Shoals and Norfork lakes, private docks depend on Corps of Engineers shoreline rules, so we review them for your lot before design begins.
Can I build a lake home while living out of state?
Yes, and several of our Twin Lakes clients have. Each project has a dedicated project manager and site superintendent, and our client portal shows the schedule, daily progress photos, job logs, selections and budget around the clock.
Do you take on renovations and additions?
Yes. Alongside new homes, we take on high-end renovations and additions, and select commercial restorations such as the Baker Building for Rapp’s Barren Brewing Company.
